Data controller

Owner: Zhiyi Yan NIE: Y9323374Q Address: Calle los Gases 36, 2º K, 03182 Torrevieja, Alicante, Spain Contact email: info@sclt.es

What is processed when you check your lote

What you enter: the province, the immigration office, and the lote number shown on your resguardo. Technical data that accompanies any request from a phone: the IP address, an approximate location derived from it (country, region, city), the time zone, the device language, the device type, and a session identifier. The app does not ask for your name, your NIE, or your case number, and it does not require an account or a login.

What is processed if you turn on the email alert

Your email address, the office and lote number you want to watch, the language you want the alert in, and the date and version of the terms you accepted. This step is optional. Checking your lote works without it.

What is processed if you request the appointment management service

The appointment management service is provided through the tiehoy.com website, not through the app. If you request this service, the following is processed: your NIE, your full name (as it appears on your documentation), the province, the office, the type of procedure, and your contact details (email address or WeChat). This data is received by email or messaging, used exclusively to book the appointment on your behalf, and deleted once the service is complete or any claim is resolved.

What the app does not do

It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), shows no advertising, and does not track you across other apps or websites. That is why it never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. It contains no analytics or third-party SDKs: no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no external measurement tool of any kind. It stores no queries on the device. It does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or system location.

Diagnostics and app health

The app sends two things to our own server, and nowhere else: the technical errors it hits while talking to the service (which request failed and with which error code) and a minimal record of use, such as opening the app from a link. Each send includes the app version, the build number, and how long ago you opened the app. It does not include your email, your batch number, the advertising identifier, or any device identifier, so it cannot tell us who you are. It is used only to catch failures and to understand which parts of the app are used. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

In-app purchases

The one-time alerts (Alert and Track) are bought through Apple's in-app purchase system. Payment happens entirely in the App Store: we never see or receive your card or bank details. For each purchase we keep the signed receipt Apple issues and the transaction identifier, together with the office, the batch number, and the email you gave us, so we can activate the alert you paid for and answer any claim or refund request. Legal basis: performance of the contract you requested (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Purposes and legal bases

Answering your query and showing the estimate: performance of the service you requested (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Protecting the service against abuse and bulk extraction: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). This is the purpose the IP address and technical data are processed for. Measuring, in aggregate, how many queries each office receives, to decide what information to publish: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Sending you the email alert: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to info@sclt.es from the address you subscribed with. Unsubscribing is immediate and requires no explanation. Managing the appointment you requested: performance of the service contract you requested (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). The data provided is used exclusively to book the appointment on your behalf.

Retention

Technical records containing the IP address are automatically purged from 48 hours onwards. Only an aggregate count per office is kept from those queries — no IP address, and nothing that would allow reconstructing who checked what. If you turned on the email alert, your address is kept until you unsubscribe; after that only the minimum record needed to avoid writing to you again is retained. If you requested the appointment management service, your personal data (NIE, name, contact details) is deleted once the service is complete or any claim is resolved.

Who else is involved

Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, and database. Resend — delivery of the verification and alert emails. Both are established in the United States and act as processors under contract. Both are contractually required to protect your data to a standard equal to or equivalent to the one described in this policy, and may not use it for any purpose of their own. International transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Apple — processing of the app's in-app purchases. Payment takes place in the App Store; we receive only the purchase receipt, never your card details. The appointment management service is not charged inside the app: it is charged by bank transfer or another method agreed between the parties.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability, by writing to info@sclt.es from the address concerned. If you believe the processing does not comply with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Children

TIE Hoy is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If what is processed or why changes, this page is updated and the date above changes with it. Changes affecting the email alert are also announced by email before they take effect.

Nature of the service

Lote checking and estimates are informational and indicative. Data comes from public official sources such as ICP and sede.policia.gob.es, user contributions, and other public observations checked by SCLT; official administrative data prevails in all cases. The appointment management service books appointments on behalf of the user using an electronic certificate, in accordance with the possibility expressly provided on the official appointment page. It is not an official service and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any public administration.
